🧐 Trump Sparks Gold

Gold prices climbed for a third consecutive session as investors sought safe-haven assets in response to escalating trade tensions sparked by former U.S. President Donald Trump's announcement of a 35% tariff on Canadian imports and plans for broader duties on other trading partners.

Spot gold rose 0.4% to $3,334.99 per ounce, supported by fears of an economic slowdown and expectations of U.S. interest rate cuts, with Fed officials signalling that two rate reductions remain possible this year.

Meanwhile, palladium jumped 2.8%, silver gained 1%, and platinum slipped 0.7%.

🐇 Rabbit Leap

Tower Resources Ltd. (TSXV: TWR; OTC: TWRFF) reported high-grade gold at Rabbit North, Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 6.02 metres of 23.63 g/t gold in Hole 060 (incl. 1.95 metres of 51.30 g/t gold), just 55 metres from surface.

  • 7.60 metres of 3.28 g/t gold in Hole 059 (incl. 0.97 metres of 16.20 g/t gold).

  • Multiple additional near-surface gold zones ranging from 1.0 to 4.85 g/t gold over various intervals.

Hole 060 strengthens the case for a substantial gold system within the Durand Diorite, pushing the Blue Sky zone 70 metres along strike and 90 metres closer to surface.

A larger drill program is now in the works, with assays from Hole 061 still to come.
