📈 Gold's Weekly Rebound

Gold prices edged lower today, with spot gold falling 0.3% to $4,076.91 per ounce, as rising oil prices revived inflation concerns and strengthened expectations that US interest rates could remain higher for longer.

Despite the daily decline, gold was heading for its strongest weekly gain in more than two months, up approximately 5% following a sharp recovery from last week's lows.

Investors are awaiting US non-farm payrolls data for clues about the Federal Reserve's next interest-rate decision, with markets pricing in a 64% chance of a December rate hike. Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs lowered its year-end gold price forecast to $4,150 from $4,650, citing the Fed's increasingly hawkish stance.
