😉 Gold Bull Strengthens
BMO Equity Research has shifted its outlook on gold from a base case to a bull case following January’s geopolitical tensions, modeling prices near US$6,500/oz by year-end 2026 and potentially US$8,600/oz by 2027 if central bank buying, ETF inflows, and supportive macro drivers continue.
Although its earlier base case anticipated a near-term pullback, risks are now viewed as skewed to the upside.
In contrast, BMO is cautious on silver, citing a loosening physical market, moderating solar demand, and fading speculative excess, while maintaining a preference for gold and copper among commodities.
