📰 Headlines

First Phosphate Corp. (Nasdaq: PHOS | CSE: PHOS | OTCQX: FRSPF) — Emerging Growth Research has reiterated its Buy rating and C$4.94 twelve-month price target on First Phosphate, following the company's uplisting to the Nasdaq Global Market without any accompanying equity raise.

The company holds more than C$30 million in cash and access to roughly C$21.5 million in non-repayable federal funding, including a fresh C$4.84 million tranche secured this month for transmission and port infrastructure.

Its flagship Bégin-Lamarche project has also been selected for fast-track status under Quebec's "Filon" critical minerals programme, with an estimated 24-36 months of funding runway through to a Final Investment Decision.

Tiger Gold Corp. (TSXV: TIGR | OTCQB: TGRGF | FSE: D150), a sponsoring partner of TNBR, reported assay results from three step-out drillholes at the Ceibal target of its Quinchía Gold Project in Colombia.

Highlights:

  • 78.63 metres of 0.8 g/t Au, including:

    • 25.56 metres of 1.4 g/t Au.

  • 86 metres of 0.5 g/t Au, including:

    • 10 metres of 1.5 g/t Au.

  • 34 metres of 0.5 g/t Au, including:

    • 6 metres of 2.1 g/t Au.

Hole CEDDH-014, a 192 metre northwest step-out, extended gold mineralisation further into new ground, while CEDDH-016 tested the interpreted northwestern margin of the system.

One rig remains active at Ceibal with assays pending, as the Company works towards a maiden Mineral Resource estimate targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

Banyan Gold Corp. (TSXV: BYN | OTCQB: BYAGF) reported high-grade gold results from the northern portion of the Powerline Deposit at its AurMac Project in Yukon, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 14.2 metres of 13.03 g/t Au, including:

    • 1.0 metre of 142.70 g/t Au.

  • 13.5 metres of 1.42 g/t Au, including:

    • 0.6 metre of 16.03 g/t Au.

The standout intercept in AX-26-874 extends high-grade mineralisation into the undrilled gap between the Powerline and Airstrip deposits, an area currently unmineralised in the resource model.

The results form part of Banyan's 2026 drill programme, targeting resource conversion, expansion and higher-grade domains at AurMac.

K2 Gold Corporation (TSX-V: KTO | OTCQX: KTGDF | FRANKFURT: 23K) revealed results from the first three drill holes at the Dragonfly Zone of its Mojave Project, in the USA.

Highlights:

  • 39.62 metres of 5.35 g/t Au, including:

    • 25.91 metres of 7.14 g/t Au.

  • 18.29 metres of 3.77 g/t Au, including:

    • 7.62 metres of 7.48 g/t Au.

  • 10.67 metres of 7.75 g/t Au.

All three holes were drilled from a single pad, a 40 metre step out north from K2's 2020 discovery hole, and confirm a high-grade oxide gold system within a previously unknown zone.

Mineralisation at Dragonfly has now been confirmed over 400 metres of strike length and remains open along strike and at depth, with 15 of the planned 14,000 metres completed and assays pending from 12 additional holes.

Ashley Gold Corp. (CSE: ASHL) announced assay results from Phase II drilling at its Tak Project, located adjacent to the Goliath Gold Complex in Canada.

Highlights:

  • 38.75 metres of 0.729 g/t Au, including:

    • 17.00 metres of 1.430 g/t Au.

  • 7.00 metres of 2.179 g/t Au.

  • 0.5 metre of 9.200 g/t Au.

Hole TAK-26-08 was the first northern-oriented hole drilled in the 67Z zone and confirmed visible gold near surface, giving the Company confidence in a shallow northern dip for the system.

With the dip now modelled, Phase III holes were drilled south for a better representation of the zone, and 10 additional holes from Phase II and III remain pending.

Onyx Gold Corp. (TSXV: ONYX) (OTCQX: ONXGF) has returned assay results from nine new holes at Argus Main, highlighted by visible gold, located in Ontario, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 67.0 metres of 1.7 g/t gold, including:

    • 6.0 metres of 13.2 g/t gold.

    • 1.0 metre of 73.4 g/t gold.

  • 144.5 metres of 0.7 g/t gold, including:

    • 75.0 metres of 1.1 g/t gold.

  • 21.2 metres of 2.1 g/t gold from previously reported drilling on the same trend.

Argus Main is increasingly defining higher-grade plunging zones within a broad mineralised envelope, while step-out holes at Argus West extended the corridor roughly 100 metres to the west-southwest.

The Argus Gold System now spans approximately 1.4 kilometres of strike and more than 700 metres vertically, with the company's 110,000 metre drill programme about 75% complete.

Independence Gold Corp. (TSXV: IGO) (OTCQB: IEGCF) (FSE: 625) reported high-grade gold and silver at the Tommy Vein System within its 3Ts Gold and Silver Project, located in British Columbia, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 31.04 metres of 9.07 g/t gold and 70.56 g/t silver, including:

    • 9.77 metres of 18.24 g/t gold and 90.69 g/t silver.

  • 27.63 metres of 5.86 g/t gold and 51.83 g/t silver, including:

    • 5.07 metres of 16.20 g/t gold and 126.23 g/t silver.

The two holes, drilled roughly 50 metres apart, intersected multi-stage quartz-carbonate veining and brecciation at an interpreted intersection of radial and arcuate structural features.

The company noted the results support a structural model that may help identify wider, higher-grade zones elsewhere within the vein system.

Irruptive Metals Corp. (TSXV: IRR) has completed its first diamond drilling campaign at the Pimentón copper-gold porphyry project in Chile.

Highlights:

  • 795.2 metres of 0.66% CuEq (0.41 g/t Au, 0.31% Cu), including:

    • 60 metres of 1.49% CuEq (1.37 g/t Au, 0.31% Cu)

  • 358.4 metres of 0.49% CuEq (0.29 g/t Au, 0.24% Cu)

  • 406 metres of 0.47% CuEq (0.26 g/t Au, 0.25% Cu)

Results confirm and extend historical drilling by Rio Tinto and Anglo American, with the porphyry system remaining open to the east, southeast and northeast.

The company plans further step-out drilling and an initial inferred resource estimate targeted for the first quarter of 2027.

Sirios Resources Inc. (TSXV: SOI) (OTCQB: SIREF) (FSE: 377A) has announced assay results from the first five holes of Phase 1 drilling at its Cheechoo gold project in the Eeyou Istchee Baie-James region of Quebec, Canada.

Visible gold has been observed in eight drill holes, with assay results still pending for seven of them.

The company expects to complete Phase 1 in September, followed by an updated resource estimate.

Lion One Metals Limited (TSXV: LIO) (OTCQX: LOMLF) has reported high-grade gold results from underground infill and grade control drilling at its 100% owned Tuvatu Alkaline Gold Project in Fiji.

Highlights:

  • 4.2 metres of 715.15 g/t gold, including:

    • 0.45 metres of 6,571.20 g/t gold

  • 5.1 metres of 35.24 g/t gold, including:

    • 0.4 metres of 325.75 g/t gold

  • 3.6 metres of 40.93 g/t gold, including:

    • 0.5 metres of 162.75 g/t gold

The company intersected high-grade mineralisation in 14 of 18 drillholes, with results focused on an area outside the current resource and within close proximity to existing underground development.

The Ura and Murau lode systems remain open at depth and along strike, and drilling continues.

Goliath Resources Limited (TSX-V: GOT) (OTCQX: GOTRF) (FSE: B4IF) has reported additional assay results from the Surebet Zone at its 100% owned Golddigger Property in the Golden Triangle, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 35.7 metres of 7.38 g/t AuEq, including:

    • 8.32 metres of 19.51 g/t AuEq

  • 6.00 metres of 10.90 g/t AuEq, including:

    • 3.96 metres of 16.48 g/t AuEq

    • 1.82 metres of 35.65 g/t AuEq

  • 5.95 metres of 5.83 g/t Au, including:

    • 2.90 metres of 11.42 g/t Au

Mineralisation at Surebet continues to be associated with veining, alteration and visible gold, occurring within quartz-sulphide stockwork and breccia hosted in sandstone.

The zone remains open both laterally and at depth.

🧐 Gold Holds Steady

Gold traded above $4,500 an ounce today, rising 0.86% from the previous day to around $4,522–4,555, putting the metal on course for a third consecutive weekly gain.

The move was driven by investors turning to safe-haven metals amid heightened volatility across currency and bond markets, while rising oil prices continued to underscore inflationary risks.

Gold held onto earlier gains from Wednesday's over 4% jump, which followed the US Treasury Department's announcement of plans to at least double its long-term debt buybacks to contain borrowing costs, pushing Treasury yields and the dollar sharply lower.

Oil prices extended their advance as the US prepares sweeping new economic sanctions against Iran, while gold remained further supported by robust investment demand and continued central bank purchases, particularly from China.
