📰 Headlines
Awalé Resources (TSXV: ARIC | OTCQX: AWLRF) has reported the first deep drilling results from the BBM gold-copper deposit at its Odienné Project in Côte d'Ivoire.
Highlights:
7 metres of 7.21 g/t gold equivalent, including:
1 metre of 43.68 g/t gold equivalent.
46 metres of 2.35 g/t gold equivalent, including:
17 metres of 3.41 g/t gold equivalent.
The initial deep holes support the potential for BBM to grow beyond its current open pit resource with an underground mining component.
Further assay results from the remaining ten holes, along with updates from other targets across Odienné, could provide additional resource growth opportunities.
Vizsla Copper (TSXV: VCU | OTCQB: VCUFF) provided an update from its 2026 drill program at the Palmer copper-zinc project in Alaska, USA.
Highlights:
49.2 metres of sulphide mineralisation, including:
14 metres of copper-rich massive sulphides.
Five drill holes completed for 2,242 metres of the planned 10,000-metre program.
Thick sulphide mineralisation intersected in both Zone 1 and Zone 2.
The early drilling has confirmed thick sulphide mineralisation at Palmer.
With assay results still to come, investors will be watching to see if the visual mineralisation translates into high-grade copper and zinc results.
Brixton Metals Corporation (TSXV: BBB | OTCQX: BBBXF) reported a new brownfields silver discovery at the Shaft 6 Southeast area of its Langis Silver Project in Ontario, Canada.
Highlights:
20 metres of 5,015 g/t silver, including:
14 metres of 7,150 g/t silver.
1.15 metres of 74,137 g/t silver.
0.65 metres of 89,125 g/t silver.
The discovery opens a new high-grade mineralised area with no previous underground workings.
Brixton believes the headline intercept is one of the highest-grade silver intersections reported globally, with further drilling underway to test the extent of the new zone.
Cabral Gold Inc. (TSXV: CBR | OTCQX: CBGZF) announced final pre-production infill drill results from the MG gold deposit at its Cuiú Cuiú Gold District in Brazil.
Highlights:
17 metres of 1.93 g/t gold.
34 metres of 0.50 g/t gold.
25 metres of 0.57 g/t gold.
The final infill drilling results support the current mine plan and are expected to improve confidence in the MG starter pit ahead of production.
With construction of the Phase 1 heap leach operation nearing completion and six drill rigs active across the project, Cabral continues to advance both mine development and resource growth.
StrikePoint Gold Inc. (TSXV: SKP | OTCQB: STKXF) revealed final drill results from its Spring 2026 drilling programme at the Hercules Gold Project in Nevada, USA.
Highlights:
67.06 metres of 0.53 g/t gold and 11.69 g/t silver, including:
7.62 metres of 2.93 g/t gold and 54.48 g/t silver.
38.10 metres of 0.32 g/t gold and 1.09 g/t silver.
7.62 metres of 1.28 g/t gold and 2.02 g/t silver.
The final results continue to define broad zones of oxide gold-silver mineralisation at the Cliffs Target, which remains open for expansion. StrikePoint believes the shallow mineralisation supports the project's potential for a future heap leach operation.
GreenLight Metals Inc. (TSXV: GRL | OTCQB: GRLMF) reported new drill results from the Bend VMS Project in Wisconsin, USA.
Highlights:
52.18 metres of 1.12 g/t gold (1.28% copper equivalent), including:
10.82 metres of 2.49 g/t gold (2.75% copper equivalent).
42.12 metres of 1.31 g/t gold (1.50% copper equivalent), including:
15.40 metres of 2.06 g/t gold (2.31% copper equivalent).
18.75 metres of 0.53% copper, 0.93 g/t gold, 5.81 g/t silver and 118.76 g/t tellurium (1.52% copper equivalent), including:
10.07 metres of 0.96% copper, 1.09 g/t gold, 9.98 g/t silver and 191.35 g/t tellurium (2.12% copper equivalent).
The results continue to expand mineralisation at the Bend deposit, with drilling extending both the broad gold-bearing footwall zone and the copper-rich VMS horizon.
Additional assays are pending as GreenLight continues to test the system along strike and at depth.
Gladiator Metals Corp. (TSXV: GLAD | OTCQB: GDTRF) reported additional high-grade drill results from the Cub East discovery at its Whitehorse Copper Project in Yukon, Canada.
Highlights:
32.0 metres of 1.36% copper, 0.63 g/t gold and 10.93 g/t silver, including:
18.0 metres of 2.12% copper, 1.06 g/t gold and 16.33 g/t silver.
38.0 metres of 1.20% copper, 0.43 g/t gold and 10.29 g/t silver, including:
15.1 metres of 2.41% copper, 0.93 g/t gold and 18.85 g/t silver.
32.77 metres of 1.06% copper, 0.44 g/t gold and 6.37 g/t silver, including:
7.28 metres of 2.47% copper, 1.45 g/t gold and 15.09 g/t silver.
The new intercepts further demonstrate the growth potential of the Cub East discovery, with mineralisation still open in multiple directions.
Gladiator has expanded its 2026 drilling programme from 35,000 metres to 50,000 metres.

Tiger Gold Corp. (TSXV: TIGR | OTCQB: TGRGF), sponsoring partner of TNBR, reported new drill results from the Ceibal target at its Quinchía Gold Project in Colombia.
Highlights:
685.35 metres of 0.6 g/t gold, including:
20.0 metres of 1.2 g/t gold and 6.0 metres of 1.8 g/t gold.

536.0 metres of 0.4 g/t gold, including:
10.0 metres of 1.2 g/t gold.
The new intercepts reinforce the growth potential of the Ceibal discovery, which remains open along strike and at depth.
Tiger is awaiting assays from three step-out holes that could significantly expand the mineralised footprint ahead of a maiden resource estimate in 2027.
Nice!
McFarlane Lake Mining Ltd. (CSE: MLM | OTCQB: MLMLF) announced new drill results from its Juby Gold Project in Ontario, Canada.

21.0 metres of 2.30 g/t gold equivalent.
14.0 metres of 1.98 g/t gold equivalent, including:
1.5 metres of 9.87 g/t gold equivalent.
Results continue to identify additional mineralisation within the Z87 reserve pit, supporting resource conversion, improved pit sequencing and the potential to enhance the project's future mine plan.
🧐 Bullion Under Pressure
Gold prices slipped today, extending losses after a sharp 2% decline in the previous session, as surging oil prices fuelled inflation concerns and reinforced expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve could keep interest rates higher for longer.
Spot gold fell 0.2% to $4,037.29 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures eased 0.3% to $4,039.80 per ounce.
Despite the recent weakness, bullion remains on track for a 0.5% weekly gain.
🤔 Copper Takes Breather
Copper prices retreated from near-record highs on Thursday as escalating tensions between the US and Iran triggered a broader sell-off in metals markets, overshadowing strong earnings from major copper producers.
Teck Resources, Freeport-McMoRan and Southern Copper all reported robust quarterly results, supported by high copper prices and rising production, while Panama continued discussions over a potential restart of the Cobre Panama mine.
Despite the pullback, copper remains more than 12% higher this year, supported by tight global supplies, strong Chinese demand and expectations of US import tariffs.
Exchange inventories outside the US continue to decline sharply, reinforcing the market's longer-term bullish outlook.
