The intercepts define a broad, vertically continuous mineralised envelope above the high-grade Perry Zone, hosted in altered andesite with quartz-calcite breccias.

Deeper drilling is now underway beneath Red Hills to test the down-dip continuation of the system, with assays pending.

Luca Mining Corp. (TSXV: LUCA) (OTCQX: LUCMF) (Frankfurt: Z68) announced new assay results from its 2026 exploration drill programme at the Tahuehueto gold-silver mine in Durango, Mexico.

    • 1.1 metres of 20.60 g/t gold equivalent

  • 1.3 metres of 13.53 g/t gold equivalent

Results include the first surface drilling at the Catorce Zone since 2008, interpreted as a southern extension of the Creston Vein system, alongside continued high-grade intercepts along the Creston Vein below Level 20.

Two contracted surface rigs remain active with a third en route, and additional assays from Catorce are pending.

Nuvau Minerals Inc. (TSXV: NMC) announced initial assay results from its summer drilling programme at the Thundermine target within its Matagami Mining District Property in Québec, Canada.

Highlights:

  • 4.45 metres of 138.87 g/t gold, including:

All 10 summer drillholes intersected the targeted tonalitic intrusive and associated hydrothermal system, with visible gold observed in seven.

Assays from seven drillholes remain pending, and the mineralised system remains open at depth and to the southeast.

Founders Metals Inc. (TSXV: FDR) (OTCQX: FDMIF) (FSE: 9DL0) announced drill results from the Upper Antino-West Zone at its Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname.

    • 10.0 metres of 43.26 g/t gold

  • 14.0 metres of 1.63 g/t gold, including:

    • 2.0 metres of 9.86 g/t gold

  • 53.1 metres of 1.21 g/t gold

The West Zone lies west of the established Froyo Zone, in ground not previously drilled, with mineralisation associated with quartz-carbonate veining and sericite alteration.

Drilling in the West Zone is ongoing as part of the 2026 programme.

K2 Gold Corporation (TSX-V: KTO) (OTCQX: KTGDF) (FSE: 23K) has reported results from four additional drill holes at the Dragonfly Zone at its 100% owned Mojave Project, in California, USA.

The Northern Veins remain open along strike and down dip in all directions.

🧐 Gold Rebounds Again

Gold prices rose 0.7% to $4,346.44 per ounce today, recovering after a nearly 2% drop in the previous session, as softer oil prices helped ease inflation concerns.

Investors are now watching the latest US consumer inflation data for clues on the Federal Reserve’s interest-rate path, with higher rates potentially weighing on gold.

Despite Friday’s rebound, bullion remained on track for a weekly loss, while buyers emerged around the key $4,300 support level.
