📰 Headlines
Hannan Metals Limited (TSXV: HAN) (OTC Pink: HANNF) announces the second and final set of assay results from its maiden diamond drill program at the Stavaträsk gold project in the Skellefteå district of northern Sweden.
Highlights:
4.6 m @ 7.2 g/t Au with individual assays up to 20.7 g/t Au over 0.6 m
and 21.4 g/t Au over 0.7 m.
Gold has now been intersected in every one of the seven holes across 650 m of strike, from as shallow as 12 m downhole.
With the full data set from the initial program now in hand, we are moving quickly into an IP gradient-array geophysical survey to map the system at scale, ahead of a second drill program.
Independence Gold Corp. (TSXV: IGO) (OTCQB: IEGCF) announces additional high-grade gold and silver results from the recently discovered Goofy Vein at its wholly-owned 3Ts Gold Project.
Highlights:
9.23 m grading 5.12 g/t gold and 33.04 g/t silver,
approximately 30 m below the original Goofy discovery intercept.
These results demonstrate that the vein continues at depth and along strike.
Further drilling on the Goofy vein has the potential to add to the current mineral resource estimate, along with the recent discoveries at the Balrog and Dixie Vein Systems.
Great Pacific Gold Corp. (TSXV: GPAC) (OTCQX: GPGCF) (FSE: 0B3) has reported results from its completed maiden diamond drill programme at the Kavasuki target, part of the Wild Dog project in East New Britain Province, Papua New Guinea.
Highlights:
58.90 metres of 2.43 g/t gold
59.90 metres of 1.38 g/t gold
38.40 metres of 2.07 g/t gold
The mineralisation is concentrated from surface to approximately 70 metres vertical depth, with the principal vein structure continuing below this horizon.
Drilling has refined the geophysical interpretation of the target and provided a new targeting framework for the broader Wild Dog corridor, with both rigs now drilling at the Magiabe and Mengmut targets.
Roxmore Resources Inc. (TSX: RM) (OTCQX: GARLF) has reported additional gold and silver assay results from its infill and extension drill campaign at the Converse gold project on the Battle Mountain-Eureka Trend in Nevada, US.
Highlights:
94.5 metres of 0.73 g/t gold and 2.34 g/t silver
85.3 metres of 0.52 g/t gold and 2.34 g/t silver
62.5 metres of 0.79 g/t gold and 3.16 g/t silver, including:
39.6 metres of 1.07 g/t gold
Silver assay results continue to show a consistent association with gold mineralisation across the Converse deposit, with silver grades commonly several times higher than corresponding gold grades.
The drill programme has expanded to three active rigs, supporting a 30,000-metre infill campaign ahead of a planned Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for 2027.
FireFox Gold Corp. (TSXV: FFOX) (OTCQB: FFOXF) has announced assay results from six additional drill holes at the East and Northeast Zones of its 100%-owned Mustajärvi gold project in Lapland, Finland.
Highlights:
2.0 metres of 63.19 g/t gold, including:
1.0 metre of 124.0 g/t gold
6.0 metres of 4.38 g/t gold, including:
1.0 metre of 23.5 g/t gold
4.0 metres of 1.64 g/t gold, including:
1.0 metre of 5.04 g/t gold
The high-grade intercepts show that strong mineralisation from the centre of the East Zone continues down dip along the shear zone.
Results continue to feed into the anticipated maiden mineral resource estimate for the project.
Aztec Minerals Corp. (TSXV: AZT) (OTCQB: AZZTF) has reported results from five reverse circulation drill holes at the North Extension target, extending the Contention mineralised system at its Tombstone project in southeastern Arizona, USA.
Highlights:
83.8 metres of 1.31 g/t AuEq (0.90 g/t gold and 22.61 g/t silver), including:
7.6 metres of 8.34 g/t AuEq (6.97 g/t gold and 75.42 g/t silver)
51.8 metres of 1.16 g/t AuEq (0.70 g/t gold and 25.59 g/t silver), including:
19.8 metres of 2.99 g/t AuEq (1.93 g/t gold and 58.01 g/t silver)
51.8 metres of 0.65 g/t AuEq (0.55 g/t gold and 5.61 g/t silver), including:
6.1 metres of 3.71 g/t AuEq (3.60 g/t gold and 5.98 g/t silver)
The results extend the Contention system by 255 metres to over 1,250 metres of continuously drilled strike length, with high-grade mineralisation at both ends and the system remaining open to the north.
Results are expected to feed into the company's previously announced maiden mineral resource estimate for the project, targeted for the fourth quarter.
Scorpio Gold Corp. (NASDAQ: SGLD) (TSXV: SGLD) (OTCQB: SRCRF) (FSE: RY9) has announced results from four drill holes of its Phase Two drilling programme at the Goldwedge target, part of the Manhattan District project in Nevada, USA.
Highlights:
48.92 metres of 3.02 g/t gold, including:
5.24 metres of 19.29 g/t gold
99.94 metres of 1.19 g/t gold, including:
4.16 metres of 5.13 g/t gold
10.15 metres of 5.14 g/t gold
Mineralisation has been traced along the Reliance Fault, from the Zanzibar Formation through to the Manhattan Caldera Volcanics at the faulted contact.
The company has now drilled 114 holes for a total of 32,585 metres as part of the Phase Two programme, with assays pending from seven holes.
Kirkland Lake Discoveries Corp. (TSXV: KLDC) (OTCQB: KLKLF) has revealed the first two holes from regional testing around a newly renamed Mirado West zone at its KL South project, 18 km south of Kirkland Lake, Ontario, Canada.

A new porphyry drill target has been defined at Luz del Sol, and the company plans up to 20,000 metres of drilling for 2026-2027 to extend both discoveries and test Luz del Sol-Cuenca and Meseta for the first time.
😎 Gold Heads Higher
Gold was holding near $4,475 per ounce today, after rebounding sharply from a three-week low, and was on track for a modest weekly gain.
The rally was supported by Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller’s comments that he could favour keeping interest rates unchanged if inflation continues to cool, while a softer US dollar and Treasury yields also helped bullion.
Investors are now focused on the US non-farm payrolls report, which could provide fresh clues on the Fed’s next move. Meanwhile, Citi sees gold potentially reaching $4,800 in the next 3 months and $5,000 over the next 6–12 months, suggesting the bullish outlook remains intact.
