🔥 Quebec on Fire With Copper

Abitibi Metals Corp. (CSE: AMQ) (OTC: AMQFF) (FSE: FW0), a sponsor of TNBR, announced results from the first four holes of the maiden drill program currently underway at the B26 Polymetallic Deposit.

Highlights:

  • 61.3m of 2.5% CuEq

  • 11.9m of 1.5% CuEq

  • 37.0m of 2.6% CuEq including 10.6m of 6.3% CuEq

The maiden program has been expanded to drill a minimum of 12,000 metres (up from 10,000). Three drills up from two. We’re happy to be biased. The market is still trying to decide the value of this news as we whipsaw up 2% then down 2%. High-grade Cu deposits in Canada, with many further holes to be reported.

At this stage, with a proven resource and current upside, you couldn’t pry these shares from our hands if you tried to.

😉 Big Boys Playing In Lithium Pool

Rio Tinto is investing $350 million in its Rincon lithium plant in Argentina to start production by the end of the year, aiming for an initial output of 3,000 tonnes per year of battery-grade lithium carbonate.

This move comes after acquiring the project from Rincon Mining in 2022 for $825 million. CEO Jakob Stausholm emphasized the significance of this development as part of the company's expansion into lithium, a critical component for electric vehicle batteries.

The investment reflects Rio Tinto's commitment to lithium, setting it apart from other major mining companies. Additionally, Argentina's role in the global lithium market is growing, with a 45% increase in production from 2022 to 2023, highlighting the country's importance in the lithium triangle.

So the big boys are still playing in the lithium pool, while retail stands back and watches. Hmmmmm……. (scratches beard).
