😉 Meta Goes Nuclear
Constellation Energy $CEG ( ▲ 0.6% ) rallied 15% after Meta $META ( ▲ 0.67% ) signed a 20-year deal to buy nuclear power from CEG, securing ~1.1 gigawatts from its Clinton Clean Energy Center in Illinois starting in 2027. The agreement helps prevent the plant’s premature closure.
The deal aligns with a broader tech pledge (including Amazon and Google) to triple global nuclear capacity by 2050. Uranium stocks are rallying today on the news.
Nice.
💪 Canterra Copper Hit
Canterra Minerals Corporation (TSXV: CTM) (OTCQB: CTMCF) (FSE: DXZB) announces additional drilling results from its ongoing 10,000 metre drill program at its 100% owned Buchans Project in Central Newfoundland.
Highlights:
68.0m of 1.0% CuEq (0.50% Cu, 1.00 % Zn, 0.43% Pb, 3.5 g/t Ag & 0.06 g/t Au), from surface, including:
11.0m of 2.14% CuEq (0.63% Cu, 3.22% Zn, 1.62% Pb, 6.9 g/t Ag & 0.14 g/t Au) from surface
The project is located 50 kilometres north of Equinox Gold's Valentine Gold Mine and 34 km northwest of Teck's past producing Duck Pond Mine.
Solid results.
Can they find more?
👏 Galway Gold
Galway Metals Inc. (TSXV: GWM) (OTCQB: GAYMF) reported results from 8 diamond drill holes at the Southwest Deposit in the Company's 100%-owned flagship Clarence Stream high-grade gold project in New Brunswick, Canada.
Highlights:
36.0m of 2.1 g/t gold, including 21.0m of 3.0 g/t gold.
13.5m of 2.8 g/t gold, including 1.5m of 13.1 g/t.
They already have a couple of million ounces from a 2022 resource estimate. We’re looking forward to seeing an update with this plus the other 40 holes still pending.
Not bad at all.
