😎 Gold Gains Ground

Gold prices rose today, supported by a weaker U.S. dollar, as investors turned their focus to upcoming trade developments, particularly the looming August 1 tariff deadline.

Spot gold climbed 0.5% to $3,364.50 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures gained 0.4%. Confidence in a potential U.S.-EU trade deal, voiced by Cantor Fitzgerald’s Lutnick, offered further market optimism. However, expectations for a U.S. Federal Reserve rate cut remained uncertain amid persistent inflation and strong economic data, according to ANZ.

Meanwhile, China’s gold and platinum imports declined in June compared to the previous month.

👏 Abitibi Step-Outs

  • 6.6 metres of strong mineralisation from 993.0 metres downhole within a broader 17.4-metre zone

  • 4,829 metres drilled to date in Phase 3; two rigs active with 15,171 metres remaining

The B26 system remains open in multiple directions, and current drilling is focused on expanding high-priority zones including western, eastern, down-plunge and southeastern targets.
