🧐 Gold Rally Pauses

Gold slipped today after hitting a two-month high of $4,449.39/oz earlier in the week, with investors taking profits following a strong rally.

Spot gold was down 0.1% at $4,344.24/oz, while December U.S. gold futures fell 0.4% to $4,400.40/oz.

Reuters said subdued U.S. inflation has reduced expectations of a Federal Reserve rate hike, with markets now pricing only a 33% chance of a September hike, down from 44% a week earlier.

Despite the pullback, gold remains supported by expectations of easier monetary policy and strong central-bank demand, although prices are facing resistance around $4,500/oz and high prices are weighing on physical demand in India and China.

🤩 Koryx Hits Copper

Koryx Copper (TSXV: KRY | OTCQB: KRYXF) reported further drill results from its Haib Copper Project in southern Namibia.

Highlights:

• 831 metres of 0.27% CuEq, including:

  • 244 metres of 0.42% CuEq.

• 654 metres of 0.25% CuEq, including:

  • 84 metres of 0.47% CuEq and 12 metres of 0.79% CuEq.

• 231 metres of 0.44% CuEq, including:

  • 12 metres of 2.55% CuEq.

The results continue to demonstrate the scale and continuity of mineralisation at Haib, with the highest copper and silver grades recorded at the project to date also returned from surface.

Drilling continues with 15 rigs, while technical studies and cost estimates advance towards a Pre-Feasibility Study targeted for the end of 2026.
