Trident Resources Corp. (TSXV: ROCK; OTCQB: TRDTF) announced drilling results at the Contact Lake Gold Project in northern Saskatchewan, Canada.

Highlights:

• 15.0 metres of 7.28 g/t gold, including:

  • 6.0 metres of 16.69 g/t gold.

• 39.5 metres of 4.43 g/t gold, including:

  • 6.0 metres of 9.43 g/t gold.

• 5.94 metres of 5.66 g/t gold, including:

  • 2.55 metres of 42.95 g/t gold.

The results confirm broad, high-grade gold mineralisation at shallow depths outside historic mine workings, supporting strong continuity of an orogenic gold system and underpinning a fully funded winter drill programme to further expand the Contact Lake discovery.
